Les Ross

Les Ross is a legendary British radio presenter who's been a household name in Birmingham for over five decades! He's best known for hosting the breakfast show on BRMB for an impressive 26 years. Born in Birmingham, Les began his radio career at just 17, winning a DJ competition run by the Birmingham Evening Mail.

Les has had an incredible career, working with various radio stations, including BBC Radio Birmingham, Radio Tees, Xtra AM, and Saga Radio. In 2024, Les Ross made a triumphant return to BRMB after a 22-year hiatus!

Throughout his career, Les has received numerous awards, including the 'Independent Radio Personality of the Year Award' in 1986 and a Sony Award in 1997. He was even appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 1996 for his services to radio broadcasting.
